The purpose of the study is to know the role that universities play in building society through their work In the scientific and practical side As it is an essential center for nurturing human thought in general, and students' thinking in particular With all that is included in the scientific and humanitarian disciplines, It develops the ability to think and deal with social, political and economic problems, Through what it proposes of scientific methods to nurture the thought of trained human cadres in all fields, The university has many responsibilities, One of the university’s most prominent responsibilities is its contribution to creating a generation capable of participation In providing services to the community, And the university, Recently, some behaviors have appeared Which adopts a different approach from Islamic values and traditions, Including encouraging violence and not accepting others, And the call from some odd ideas to non-peaceful coexistence, which was invented out of a utilitarian interest, Especially after 2003, The current study sheds light on(The university’s role in peaceful coexistence and the renunciation of violence) in the university community, Especially at Tikrit University, It is these behaviors To move away somewhat from practicing the method of peaceful coexistence and rejecting violence, The study consisted of one chapter entitled: The general framework of the study, divided into several topics and demands, in addition to a general introduction and conclusion of the study, as follows: The first topic: the theoretical framework of the study, The second topic: the basic concepts of the study, The third topic: previous studies, The fourth topic: the jobs of modern universities, The fifth topic: methodological procedures for the study (field of study)
