Abstract EN

This work investigates the feminine personality in Al-Jahiz's Bukhala' based on three model characters with reference to the cultural criticism.

It has been found that the selected characters were subject to intellectual principles which fit that period.

Consequently, thrift/saving strategy was a successful instrument of braking down need, poverty, hunger, loss and vanishing.

It was a serious attempt to prove existence, and a try from the marginalized people to compete for a proof of identity
