Abstract EN

This research is concerned with studying environmental problems in Algeria and the economic treatment of them, by identifying the concept of the environmental problem from an economic perspective, analyzing environmental problems in Algeria and their economic effects, and finally trying to reach an economic solution to environmental problems, and the most prominent recommendations for their treatment.

The most important results of the study are that environmental pollution has reached dangerous levels, which requires more attention from the competent authorities to treat it, and attention to renewable energy sources as the true alternative to fossil energies that Algeria relies almost exclusively on.
