Dictionaries are booklets that contain an explanation and simplification of linguistic materials, as they are considered one of the basic tools in language acquisition, as the latter are described as one of the basic tools in language acquisition, and it is no wonder that four schools have appeared in the history of Arab linguistic thought in the tabulation and arrangement of dictionaries.

Therefore, students should be encouraged to use dictionaries, both paper and electronic, due to their importance and role in acquiring vocabulary in particular and language skills in general, and the teacher should make use of activities to make the use of dictionaries as part of his teaching plan, especially in my lessons, expression and reading.
