This study aims to reveal the manifestations of Linguistic Alienation on Yasmina Salah's novel "A Homeland of Glass" and the impact of these manifestations on the novel.

The study leads us to identify three manifestations of Linguistic Alienation in the novel: The use of Paradox, defying the use of familiar language, uncovering the characters' alienation through the monologue.

These manifestations of Linguistic Alienation are the source of the novel's poetics because they are playing a central role in the process of shaping its semantic and aesthetic structure.
