Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the employment policies adopted by Algeria, by presenting the situation of the labor market and the level of unemployment during the period (2010- 2018), and comparing them with the desired goals that the government was seeking to achieve.

The results of the study concluded that the effect of these policies was weak, as it was found that the success or failure of employment policies depends on the factors that have an impact on the growth pattern, which is represented in the variables of oil prices and returns as the only source in financing large shares of employment on the one hand, And the lack of flexibility of the production system on the other hand.
