The paper mentions that the mountains have roots and prominent part on the surface of the earth.

The deep of their roots is equal to the part on the surface.

God confirms that the creation of the mountains is so important to the stability of the earth and to be an expanse.

The paper follows the inductive, analytical, and derivative methodology.

The researcher traces the Qur'anic texts that are concerned with the mountains to fulfill the aim of the study.

The paper reaches different findings: the main to be said is that the mountains function the role of the wedge in installing the surface of the earth.

The word mountain is uttered 2 times in the Holy Qur'an.

Mountains are floating on a sea of melted rocks.

And this is a miracle by itself.
