Abstract EN

This reserch aims to show the most important axes and procedures that the new economic growth model came in order to redefine a new strategy to achieve diversification of sources of economic growth prospects for the year 2030, after the inability of economic recovery programs to reach the independence of the national economy from oil rents.

The research was mainly based on the model of new growth document under 21 pages which published on the Ministry of Finance website.

The research reached a set of results, importantly that the crisis of the decline in oil prices in 2014 and its successors had a strong motivation in announcing the new model despite its initial draft in 2012, as the research also concluded that the application of the new growth model did not realize its goals that were scheduled during the period 2016-2019 as desired, which puts the remaining goals at staks.
