Abstract EN

Algeria adopted the system of distance education in its universities ,after the suspension of its study due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the high mortality of it, but this option in teaching faced a set of challenges, we tried to present some of them in this article which is : Weak speed of internet flow, the possibility of declining quality in distance education, high prices of electronic devices and modern software, lack of training of students and teachers in the use of modern technologies, lack of selflearning skills among students, lack of digitization of university libraries, weak cybersecurity system, health risks for the increasing use of distance learning, Based on these challenges, we have put forward a number of proposals that can contribute to alleviating difficulties even a little and make distance education a strategic goal and a proactive solution to such sudden health crises.
