This study aims to identify the linguistic features and ethnic-relations used and to reveal hidden ideologies in Trump's tweets.
To do so, the researcher chooses 30 tweets from Trump's official page.
The researcher establishes a model based which are the Fairclough's dimensional model(linguistic featuers) (1993), Van Dijk's ideological discourse analysis(1995b) and VanDijk's ideological square(1998)to analyze the sample.
The researcher investigates the following two hypotheses: 1.
Donald Trump tweets present power any racial superiority in his Tweets.
2.
Donald Trump tweets does not present and racial superiority in his Twitter Also, the researcher answers the two research questions: 1.
What are the linguistic features and ethnic relation used in the tweets written by Donald Trump in his official Twitter? 2.
What is the ideology and ethnic-relations illustrated in the tweets made by Donald Trump in his official Twitter?
