In this study, Professor Bousoltane Mohamed deals with the issue of constitutional justice in African countries whose political and legal systems were derived from the French model, as they are former colonies.

The author pointed out that the African countries in this study differ in their application of the Individual Action of Unconstitutionality, due to the difference in their constitutional institutions, however all of them seek to strengthen their democratic rule and lay the foundations for the rule of law, by protecting human rights and ensuring fundamental freedoms
