El concepto de Honor en la literature Espanola de los siglos XVI-XVII

Abstract EN

In this research we discuss the subject of honor and symbolism in Spanish literature, for a period of the sixteenth and seventeenth century .

We explained the features and appearances of honor for that period,and we uncovered the concept of self-honor, which comes from morality, and the honor acquired by virtuous acts in the community and the service of the state and the defense of values.
