Lie group analysis is used to investigate invariance properties of nonlinear fractional partial differential equations with three independent variables.
The analysis is applied to the conformable fractional Kadamtsev-Petviashvili equation (KP).
All of the vector fields and the Lie symmetries are obtained.
We show that the conformable fractional KP equation can be converted to a conformable fractional partial differential equation with two independent variables.
Henceforth, the produced equation can be transformed to a conformable fractional ordinary differential equation.
