Abstract EN

This article is interested in the study of the activity of the Barbarossa Brothers and presents a new reading in their main role which they played in the events of the Mediterranean at the beginning of the XVIth century.

Through this study, we seek to shed light on the origin and origins of these famous sailors who contributed significantly and directly to the transformations.

The political situation in the Mediterranean region began in the early 16th century, examining their jihad against the powers of the crusaders in the eastern Mediterranean and their contribution to the protection of the Maghreb countries from Spanish threats.

Witness to these countries during the period studied, as we have shown in the last major efforts that the Barbarossa brothers changed to save the Muslims from Andalusia and deport them to North Africa
