The study examines the impact of fiscal policy on social development in Algeria, which aims to promote and develop families and individuals.

Where we present the most important indicators of social development of Algeria during the period 1990-2018, the most commonly used indicators such as poverty, unemployment and health.

Where we calculated the tax pressure applied to households, especially the tax pressure on their income, and its impact on their well-being and their standard of living, the study found that one third of household income paid in various taxes and fees, mostly taxes on consumption.
