Abstract EN

Given the many changes that the world has witnessed during the past years, and amongthese changes is the shift towards a knowledge economy, in which knowledge has becomethe basis for generating wealth and increasing and accumulating it, through positiveinteraction between knowledge economy and economic development, so the study aimedto measure the relationship between an economy Knowledge and economic developmentin the Turkish economy, using a set of related indicators.

The study found that there is acausal relationship between the knowledge economy and economic development in theTurkish economy, and this largely explains Turkey's success in achieving its developmentrenaissance.
