Abstract EN

to analyze and measure the nature of the relationship between CO2 emissions, energy consumption, economic growth, trade openness and Foreign Direct Investment in Egypt over the period of 1977–2014, using cointegration and Granger causality approach.

The result suggests that there exists a long-run relationship among the variables and the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis is supported.
