Identity is one of the important issues that build on or shape the image of society in all itsimplications.

Therefore, identity represents the individual's sense of himself and individualityand preserving his integrity, values, behaviors and ideas in different situations, as well asrepresenting the reality of the thing or distinguish the person from others.

The question ofidentity, which has been transformed in Arabic writings into a narcissistic wound orobsession, needs to be guided by various openings in the analysis of discourse, philosophy, and criticism in order to put the question of identity and difference within its theoretical andintellectual framework to work on solutions to what it calls (crisis).
