The present study traces the most significant economic and social effects of electricity supply to El-Fayoum town by focusing on the villages of the selected sample.

For the economic and commercial sector, they are affected by electricity supply.

Furthermore, both small and medium industries, they are affected too by electricity supply for their reliance on machines in the production process.
