Professional Practices for Schools Principals and its Relationship in Enhancing Scholastic Excellence.

The study aimed at investigating the relationship between professional practices for schools principals and its relationship in enhancing scholastic excellence in Petra directorate of education from teachers' perspective.

The researcher used the correlation descriptive approach and an instrument for data collection consisted of two domains, the first one (Professional Practices domain), it includes (43) items, and the second (scholastic Excellence domain), it includes (43) items, validity and reliability were checked.

The population of the study was 717 male and female teachers.

The sample consisted of 250 male and female teachers, which was selected randomly.

The results indicated that the level of principals Professional Practices was high with a mean of (3.92), and the level of scholastic excellence as well with a mean of (3.74).

The results also showed that there is a positive correlative relationship and statistically significant difference at (0.01) between professional practice and enhancing scholastic excellence with correlation coefficient (0.920).

There is also statistically significant effect for professional practice in enhancing scholastic excellence.

In the light of the result the researcher recommends continuity in developing professional practice of principals through training and rehashing for achieving extra excellence, innovation, and quality at school.
