This Study aimed at detecting the effectiveness of the Bybee Model in treatment of reading impairment for sixth grade pupils.

In order to achieve the objectives of Study, the researcher used the Semi-Experimental Method.

The sample consisted of (51) sixth graders who were divided into two groups, one of which consisted of (25) pupils.

The selected unit (health awareness) was teached according to the Bybee Model, and the other group consisted of (26) pupils who have been teached in the ordinary method, The Study tools were the achievement test.

The Study has concluded several results, the most important of which was the effectiveness of the Bybee Model in the treatment of reading impairment for the sixth grade pupils.

The Study revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of pupils in the experimental and controlling groups in the post-test of reading skills and for the experimental group.

Use of the Bybee Model has also a significant impact on treating reading impairment among pupils of the experimental group.

In ligt of the previous findings, the researcher developed a number of Recommendations and suggestions.
