Abstract EN
This paper describes engine model at idling speed and this is then applied to idle speed control of a four-cylinder electronically fuel injected spark ignition engine.
The process model for an internal combustion engine with spark ignition is inherently non-linear.
For the purpose of control analysis, a linear model is developed[14].
The control technique applied to the engine is linear-quadratic Gaussian and loop transfer recovery method (LQG / LTR).
Computer simulation is used to illustrate the performance of the control system
