The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of the design of the mobile learning environment on the development of cognitive needs among students of the basic stage in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.


The researcher presented the research problem, and research importance, his Hypotheses, methodology, and tools, and his steps, and has been the theoretical foundations of research: the components of learning mobile environments; and devices learning mobile and characteristics and requirements of employment and the reasons for the use of learning and mobile learning difficulties learning mobile in addition to the learning needs of mobile environment; Finally, the researcher dealt with the role of the mobile learning environment in the development of the cognitive needs of students in the basic stage.


In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method and semi-experimental approach method.

The sample of the study was 40 students, randomly selected from the King Abdullah II School of Excellence.

The experimental group was studied using a program designed for mobile learning.


The researcher also prepared the research tools, which consisted of an electronic test to meet the cognitive needs and cognitive aspects related to the students.

The research tools were applied before and after the experimental group, The researcher then worked on statistical treatments for this research using statistical programs for social sciences (SPSS).


The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students in the tribal and remote applications to test the collection of needs and the cognitive aspects in favor of the post application.


The research has come to the effectiveness of mobile learning environment in the development of cognitive needs, research has recommended the development of a mobile learning environment designed to accommodate this search for the rest of the contents of the course and use it to teach students.
