The middle east region in general and the Arab regionin particular have a large and significant segment in thestrategic perception of world powers, especially in theAmerican perception, with its geostrategic properties andgeopolitical importance, it represents the link among theancient world continents and includes the world traderoutes besides being the heart of the middle east.

Thisarticular region also contains enormous wealth reservesstill not fully estimated as well as its spiritual energyrepresented by the Islamic religion which, according tothe west, poses a great danger to its interests in theregion.

Therefore, this region has been the focus ofregional and international powers over centuries.
