Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to shed light on the experience of Non-Formal Education in the State of ”Kuwait”, represented by ”Al-Siraj Al-Munir” Educational Centers, affiliated to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, In an attempt to monitor the proscenium of these centers in favor of the educational reality in Egypt, The Centers represent one of the educational institutions parallel to the formal education system, It is a relatively recent experience in ”Kuwait”, was established by the Ministry of ”Awqaf and Islamic Affairs” in 2002, based on the Quranic Classes of the Department of ”Islamic Studies”, entitled ”Iqra”, to be specialized educational centers, which deals with the Shariah culture, and cares for young people betwen (8- 14) years, aiming at inculcating Islamic morals and virtues, and bringing them up in a safe educational environment; to be good children, loyal to their nation, their homeland, and their religion, through special curricula, it includes (27) educational centers; (13) for boys', and (14) for girls, in all governorates of ”Kuwait”, the number of students in these centers during the last year (2017) is about (8, 000) eight thousand students.
