Abstract EN

The objective of the current research is to answer the following questions: The level of psychological stress among intermediate school students.

Are there differences of statistical significance in the level of psychological stress according to the gender variable (male- female) and specialization (scientific- humanity).

And then the level of professional decision making among middle school students in general.

Are there differences of statistical significance in the level of professional decision making according to the gendebr variable (male- female) and specialization (scientific- humanity).

Is there a statistically significant relationship between the level of psychological stress and professional decision-making among students in the research sample? The research sample consists of (400) students of intermediate school students in Karbala city center who study in the academic year 2018/2019.

The instruments that are used are measures of psychological stress and professional decision making.

The research results show that the computed level of stress is greater than the hypothetical.

This indicates that the research sample is generally under stress.

And that the differences are according to gender (male- female) and in favor of males and there are no differences depending on the variable of specialization.

In the third objective, the statistical treatments in relation to the decision-making variable indicates that the computed circles were larger than the hypothetical.

This indicates that the respondents enjoy decision-making in general.

Regarding the fourth objective, the differences in decision making according to the gender variable (male and female) there are no significant statistical differences.

As for the fifth goal, it becomes clear that there is a correlation between psychological stress and professional decision making.
