This research aims to study the various components of tourism in Karbala for the purposes of development and protection in the framework of a comprehensive tourism plan which activates this sector to contribute in the social, economic and environmental development of Iraqi with the other sectors in Iraqi county.

The purpose of this research is consistent with the possession of Karbala ingredients of different tourist, natural, humanitarian, attraction may underlie a developed tourist industry, if you used the best methods, that's beside the large and continuous increase in the number of tourists in most parts of the world stemming from the growing desire to participate in the tourism movement and the recreation in modern communities, whether for the of social, economic, cultural, religious, sports, psychological, healthy purposes and so on.
