Abstract EN

This research discusses the position of the scholar Sheikh Muhammad AL-Ameen AL-Jekeni Ashankiti on Sufism.

This research was written in order to benefit from the heritage of the mentioned scholar and to manifest the scientific aspect, which distinguishes his method.

This scientific aspect is his refutation to those who dissent from the followers of the Sunnah and Jama'ah.

My choice was the Sufism sect, and the sheikh position from it.

This research has observed six places where the Sheikh stated his position on Sufism and his response -with his scientific method combining evidence from previous and late scholars of Allah until his era -to the Sufism embracement of corrupted beliefs and invalid evidence, which is contrary to the predecessors (Salaf) belief.

This research relies on comparative analytic approach by comparing what Sufism claims, which is an innovation, and the (salaf) belief.

In addition, the critical approach which the sheikh followed in refuting Sufism.

The research plan is as follows:  The introduction, which includes: First: reasons for selecting this topic.

Second: previous studies.

Third: a research methodology.

Fourth: the research plan.

 Preface: A brief autobiography of Sheikh Muhammad AL- Ameen AL-Jekeni.

 The First Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism claims that each group leader is the intermediary between Allah and the people.

 The Second Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism claims that prophets and holy people absolutely know the unseen world.

 The Third Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism claims that who reaches a degree of certainty in knowing Allah all the obligations become nonbinding.

 The fourth Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism claims that it is permissible to work with inspiration and to consider it a source of reception, such as revelation.

This was based on the story Al-Khidr and the Prophet Moses peace be upon them. The Fifth Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism claims that Al-Khidr is alive until know.

 The Sixth Topic: the sheikh response to the Sufism in their exaggerated glorification of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by giving him a right, which is one of Allah's rights.

 Conclusion: it includes the findings and recommendations.

In my opinion, displaying the position of scholars who are well established in knowledge, from some sects and responding to them -such as Sheikh Muhammad AL-Ameen Ashankiti- will be a guide for those who seek the truth, know it and refer to it.
