Abstract EN

This paper aims to collect all remaining poetry of Ḥakam ibn Maʿmar al-Khuḍrīfound in literary, philological, anthological, and geo-historical sources and to verify any accounts in which a fragment of poetry whether or not it is attributable to him.

It then surveys anecdotes and chronicles found about him or his political associates and contemporary poets in all types of sources.

Overall, this paper provides the first poetry collection of al-Ḥakam al- Khuḍrī and an overview of his work including themes, wording, motifs and style.

This paper can be assumed as the initial step towards many studies can be conducted using this primary material.
