Abstract EN

The environment in which Sayyid Mohammed Hussain Fadlulah was brought up has focal role in manifesting his religious, political and intellectual personality.

The social upbringing also has vital role in forming his personality as Fadlulah was the offspring of an open school which worked on demonstrating a renaissance, religious, social and political project.

He adopted modern criticism via Quranic authority and was characterized by field mobility and reality of concept which was reflected in his personality in terms of teacling topics with audacity and criticizing them with courage and bravery.

Moreover, Fadlulah was characterized by views and thoughts which were concordant with reality.

This was crystal clear through the renewal thinking he submitted and adopted to reform the religious institution trying thus to find out suitable and realistic solutions to put an end to the conventionality of this institution.

Fadlulah regraded social labor and paying due attention to it, putting forth its problems and finding effective solutions to these problems an integral and significance part in the work of religious authority, an issue that made him put forth many religious and social issues which are of relation to family, society, children, youths and women.
