Abstract EN

The current study traces the history teacher attitudes toward implementation of "Active Learning" strategy for high school pupils".

The study sample consists of 60 history teachers in the preparatory stage.

The descriptive approach, here, is employed, and the main research instrument prepares a scale to determine the trends of history teachers toward the application of active learning strategies.

Furthermore there are 26 items applied to the study sample, after being verified for reliability and stability.

The most important findings of the research stress that there are no attitudes for the history teachers toward the application of active learning strategies.

In light of such a result some suggestions come to the fore to help teachers of history apply the active learning strategies.
