أثر برنامج تدريسي قائم على الحوسبة السحابية في تنمية مهارات الكتابة في اللغة الإنجليزية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي

Abstract EN

This study aims at explaining the impact of an instructional program based on cloud computing on the development of writing skills in English Language among tenth grade students.

The participants of the study were (40) male and female students from The Jordan University School, where sections of grade ten were distributed randomly into two groups: an experimental group and a control group.

To achieve the goals of the study, the researchers developed an instructional program and a writing skills test.

The writing skills test was applied before and after the implementation of instruction.

The experimental group underwent eight weeks of instruction using the developed instructional program, while the control group was exposed to the currently running instructional program for these eight weeks.

Results showed statistically significant differences between the two groups that can be attributed to the impact of the instructional program at all writing levels in favor of the experimental group, and there were statistically significant differences on the post-writing skills test (Linguistics kills, Discoursal skills) that can be attributed to differences in group, gender in favor of the females.

The study recommended using the cloud-based teaching program in teaching the writing topics in English language at school.
