Abstract EN

The study aims at examining some modern literary and critical concepts most frequently used in ancient as well as modern literary and critical domains, trying to connect their old denotation with that of the contemporary.

Moreover, the study traces these concepts’ semantic development and the extent to which their connotations in old as well as new critical studies are related and overlapped.

Finally, the study attempts to associate these concepts prevalent in heritage sources with Western critical concepts.
