Abstract EN

Stroke is the second most common cause of death and major cause of disability worldwide.

Recently, bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) have been shown to improve functional outcome after stroke.

In this review, we will focus on the protective effects of BMSCs on ischemic brain and the relative molecular mechanisms underlying the protective effects of BMSCs on stroke.
