Abstract EN

The concept of attention in linguistic and literary studies has known numerous problematic, among which we find varying definite on samongst those working on it as well as varying definitions by the same scholar.

Hence, in which rhetorical science is it categorized? And the precise aims hidden in it.

Taking in to consideration these problematics or just some of them, we may agree that we should study this concept in accordance to Ibn ALathir, and this can be done through reading the conception and the purposes.

Thus, we found that the understanding of such Concept is not ambiguous to him, to a certain extent, but rather clear; in addition to that, we found that he was innovative in discovering many aims of its benefits relying on there commendations and the opinions of Al-zimakhchary.
