This article focuses on researching images of the intellectual, his relationship to power, and his role in the cultural community, relying on this on the novel of " Who murdered Asaad El-morori" for the author Habib El sayh considering the novel today as one of the narratives that were able to approximate reality, translate it, depict society, and discuss its silence.

The intellectual had an active role in change and reform, but he was often subjected to rejection, enteeism and oppression, which made him try to prove himself and his identity and impose his idea.

This article has attempted to answer a set of questions, including: Has the authority as a center been able to take away the identity of the intellectual and subjugate it to its systems?
