Abstract EN

The term hatred, also known as “ a bias crime “ has been widely importance across legal jurisprudence, as this term has great controversy in the political, religious and even legal arena according to its negative impact on the unity and stability of societies internally and externally.

However, this disagreement has its influence criminal legislation, which differed by criminalizing the acts associated to it by special legislation or under the Penal Code, either as individual provisions or as an aggravating circumstance.

That is why we have faced a great challenge on this topic, which prompted us to analyze to discuss this significant issue.

It raises several problems, the most important one which is the compatibility of the Bahraini legislator's plan in the Penal Code with the need of society.

Moderation does not mean a waiver of an individual or group of their beliefs, thoughts, religion, or even nationality or ethnicity, but an implicit recognition that intellectual and ideological difference is the nature of human beings and is a positive recognition of the need for the enjoyment of rights and freedoms guaranteed by the heavenly laws before positivism, Thus a major source of avoidance of contempt or hatred that can be created or instilled in some towards others.
