Abstract EN

This paper aims to study a literary term which has very active role in Arabic literature both in semantic and syntactic aspects.

It represents an essential core in Arabic literature that every researcher must understand and know it; it is known as the significance of place through the study of researchers.

What should you guess if that place is Karbala and its vocabularies? the place that brought its significance from religious, doctrinal and Jihadi of several holy figures (Al-imam Hussein and his family and his very closed friends).

Many poets have showed their ability and innovation to write poems about the exceptional historical events which were done by those holy figures mentioned above.

Their poetry also aroused the psychological feeling of hearer to understand the meaning of that type of poetry; the poetry rouse the mind of Muslims, agitate their emotions and get its features from the doctrinal bases of those group of men.

Therefore, the main aim of the researcher is to show the significances of the word Karbala and its vocabularies, Altaf and Altefoof in the poetry of sheikh Muhsen Abu Alheb.
