Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify social subjects teachers' training needs from the point of view of teachers and educational supervisors in Al-Baha Region.

The researcher used the descriptive method, using the survey.

The questionnaire was an instrument of the study to identify the training needs of teachers and supervisors of social subjects.

The study included five areas: planning teaching, modern teaching and learning strategies, teaching technologies, educational, enrichment, creative activities of teaching, and teaching assessment.

The study instrument consisted of (24) statements, representing the training needs to be studied.

The study sample consists of (194) teachers, and (8) eight educational supervisors.

The results of this study showed the social subjects teachers' need for training in all fields of study, with a (high) degree.

The results of the study showed that there are no statistically significant differences according to the following variables: current work, scientific qualification, and teacher's years of experience.
