أثر المدونة الصوتية في تحسين أداء متعلمي اللغة العربية الناطقين بغيرها في مهارات الاستماع

Abstract EN

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of the podcast in improving listening skills among non-native Arabic language learners in the third level at the languages center in Al-Bayt University in Jordan.; at the first semester of the Academic year 2018/2019; totaling (30) male and female learners selected through available sampling.

The study adopted the quasi experimental approach, as the patricians were divided equally into an experimental group studied through the podcast and a control group studied through the traditional method.

A multiple choice listening test of 20 items was administrated after checking its validity and reliability to measure the participants' mastery of the skills.

The findings showed that there are significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05)between the means of the performance of both groups on each skill separately and on them as a whole in favor of the experimental group.

Based on the findings, the researchers recommended conducting similar studies to explore the effect of the podcast on other language skills.
