This scientific paper aims to research the image of the police among the citizen and its relationship to the society and political dimensions in Algeria.

The citizen's position on the police force involves several social, cultural and psychological dimensions.

These dimensions are the basic determinants of the form، type and process of the relationship between the police and the citizen.

It is measured positive or negative by the position of both sides of its results, and expresses these positions either with consent in the case of affirmation or discontent and rejection in the case of Affirmation or discontent and rejection in the case of an institution as a responsibility alone to maintain security to the involvement of other institutions such as the family and the media and the involvement of society as a whole in This responsibility.
