As the world faces a lot of risks, especially health and environmental ones, like Corona virus pandemic, and since pre-university education institutions are most vulnerable to these kinds of risk, interest increased in risk management.

The current study aims to identify the features of the current state of health and environmental risk management in pre-university education institutions in Egypt, and put forward a future vision.

The study presented a future vision for risk management for pre university education institutions in Egypt, according to which the establishment of a special risk unit for these institutions and their governance within the structure of the Ministry of Education.

The vision includes: its philosophy, goals, importance, mechanisms for its application, and setting a plan for some health and environmental risks that describe the risk and determine the responsibility to address it and the continuity of work.

The study also presented several recommendations to activate risk management through setting the legal and regulatory framework for the risk management unit, providing the necessary financial capabilities and qualified human cadres, and launching an electronic platform for its activities and tasks.
