تم تحضير راتنج من بلمرة اللكنوسلفونيت مع الفورمالديهايد في محيط قاعدي باستخدام البلمرة التكثيفية.
تم غسل البوليمر الناتج الخالي من الأيونات، و جفف بوضعه في السخان في درجة حرارة 40°م تحت الضغط المخلخل لمدة 24 ساعة.
تم سحق النموذج بهيئة مسحوق و تم تشخيص البوليمر بالأشعة تحت الحمراء.
درست الخصائص التحليلية لهذا الراتنج بدراسة قابليته على التبادل الأيوني، و وجد أن القابلية التبادلية تكون حسب الترتيب التالي و في دوال حامضية مختلفة.

Abstract EN
The resin which is Prepared from the copolymerization of the modified Lignosulfonate formaldehyde in the basic medium, was used as a cationic exchange resin toward selected metal ion (Mg2+, Zn2+, Pb2+, Co2+, Cd2+, and Cu2+).
The effect of the pH and treating time on the exchange efficiency of the resin has been investigated, the exchange ability toward metal ions was found to be as follows: Pb2+ > Mg2+ > Zn2+ > Cu2+ > Cd2+> Co2+ : pH = 3 Cu2+ = Zn2+ > Co2+ > Pb2+ > Mg2+ > Cd2+ : pH = 6 Pb2+ > Zn2+ > Cu2+ > Mg2+> Cd2+ > Co2+ : pH = 9
