قيمت حالة 44 مريض مصابين بمرض التهاب الرثوي سيريريا و مختبريا تم إعطاء 22 مريضا منهم 50 مليغرام لكل يوم فوسفات الزنك بشكل كبسولات مع علاج قياسي، كذلك أعطيت جرعات وهمية مع جرعات قياسية لنفس العدد من المرضى، قيم جميع مرضى السيطرة و القياس من الناحية السريرية و المختبرية بعد مضي شهر واحد على اخذ العلاج.
لوحظ أن المرضى اللذين استلموا علاج فوسفات الزنك تحسنوا معنويا من الناحية السريرية و المختبرية بالمقارنة مع العلاج الوهمي.
Abstract EN
Forty-four patients who had rheumatoid arthritis were evaluated clinically and by laboratory tests.
Twenty-two patients received zinc sulphate capsule (50mg / day) plus standard treatment, while twenty-two patients received placebo and standard treatment.
All th1e patients were evaluated one month later.
Those who received zinc therapy revealed significant improvement in both clinical and laboratory tests, in comparison with those who received placebo therapy.
