درست عوامل الخطورة لمرضى القلب المصابين بقصور الدورة الدموية التاجية في ٤١٢ مريض في أواسط و أخر العمر ممن يراجعون ثلاث مستشفيات في البصرة.
كما تم دراسة متلازمة الايض التي عرفت بوجود ثلاثة أو أكثر من عوامل الخطورة.
عوامل السمنة، ارتفاع ضغط الدم، التدخين، السكر و اضطراب مستوى الدهون في الدم وجدت في 46 %, 42 %, 40 %, 30 %.
30 % من المرضى حسب التسلسل، عوامل الخطورة غالبا كانت غير منتظمة و خارجة عن السيطرة للمرضى، 141 (44 %) من المرضى لا يوجد لديهم أي عامل من عوامل الخطورة.
المتلازمة الايضية كانت موجودة في 118 (28 %) من مرضى القلب الذين تم دراستهم.
Abstract EN
Risk factors for ischemic heart disease in 421 middle aged and elderly patients attending three hospitals in Basrah were studied.
Metabolic syndrome defined as the presence of three or more of these risk factors were studied too.
Obesity, hypertension, smoking, diabetes and dyslipidemia were present in 46%, 42%, 40%, 30% and 30% of patients respectively.
Most of these factors were uncontrolled.
161 (38%) of patients had no detectable risk factor.
Metabolic syndrome was present in 118 (28%) of the studied patients.
