Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on information processing theory to develop the creative reading skills of high school students.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher undertook the following steps and procedures: 1-Identify the appropriate creative reading skills for secondary students through literature and research review and prepared a list of innovative reading skills suitable for students in the first grade secondary The tools of study in the test of innovative reading skills.

2-Determine the procedures and steps of the strategy based on information processing theory for the development of these skills through reviewing the literature, research and previous studies.

A list of the proposed strategy procedures was finalized.

3- Demonstrate the effectiveness of the strategy based on information processing theory to develop these skills through applying the strategy to the experimental group and applying the test before and after the experimental and control groups.

The results showed the effectiveness of the strategy presented by the present study in developing the creative reading skills of first grade students .
