ABSTRACT This study deals with the dimensions of Turkish-Russian economic, political and security development from a historical perspective.

The study argues that Russia has always been a source of threat to Turkey, but continues to believe that maintaining strong relations with a strong country such as Russia is of great importance to Turkey in this geography.

Although the article does not address the subject in all its dimensions because of the limited research, it reviewed some areas that bear the competitive nature in relations, and some areas that carry cooperation and harmony.
