Abstract EN

This research aims to knowing the dimensions of organizational culture and strategic thinking.

It also targets to identify the influence of organizational culture on strategic thinking for thinkers and creators in the Southern Technical University.

The research trays to find some answers for the following question: is there an influence of organizational culture on the strategic thinking? To interpret and tackle the problem, the researcher proposes tow hypothesizes which have formulated to test the relationship of influence of the organizational culture on strategic thinking.

To achieve the objective of this research, the questionnaire was developed and distributed to sample of (30) managers who work at top management for (3) Technical Institutes and (2) Colleges in the Southern Technical University.

The statistic program (SPSS) is used to test the required tests.

The results are significant at freedom of degree (29) which means there is an influence of the organizational culture on the strategic thinking.

The research ends up with providing an useful recommendation which is “the top management should pay attention to supporting the organizational culture as well as depending on strategic thinking for solving current future problems.
