This research paper examines the manifestations of artistic suspense in the Quranic story, taking the story of Taloot and Goliath as a practical example of the aesthetics of the miraculous suspense that enveloped the story from its beginning to its end.

The paper presented an overview of suspense in general in ancient Arabic rhetoric, and concluded that the ancient Arabic rhetoric did not take a term for suspense, but rather talked about the content and elements of suspense.

As for the suspense in the modern story, it included several elements, namely: the beginning, the conflict, the node, the timing, the rhythm, and the end.

These elements combined are what connect the events of the story, from beginning to end.

What called us to choose this topic is his virginity in his field, no one - as far as I know - has assigned him a previous study, and therefore we had to explain the elements of suspense in the Qur'an story in general, and in the story of Taloot and Goliath in particular.

In order for this paper to be fulfilled, it was decided that this study should include the following topics: The suspense in the ancient rhetoric, and after it the suspense between the modern story and the Quranic story, and in the other comes the discussion of the elements of artistic suspense in the story of Taloot and Goliath, and in order to achieve these items, we have chosen the artistic method.

Because the artistic curriculum depends on objective elements, and on artistic assets that have a chance of stability.

It is a subjective and objective curriculum, which is the closest to the nature of literature.
