The study aimed to highlight the role of Bank of Algeria in establishing the principles of governance within the banking system by modernizing the supervision and control functions after the crisis of private banks, as well as trying to cope with international changes through the issuance of laws and regulations adapted to international standards in the field of prudential regulation and the application of the principles of governance and support supervision and supervision functions.
